Job
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain an accurate production schedule that meets customer demands while optimizing resources.
Assist in developing Master Schedule requirements from demand forecast and discrete customer orders, plant capacity, and historical data.
Works with the procurement team, operations team, and other key employees/cross-functional teams to align daily, weekly, and monthly production needs.
Develops efficient, accurate, and timely schedule adjustments.
Analyze production and material requirements to identify areas for improvement and resolve scheduling conflicts.
Manage production order status and communicate changes to relevant departments.
Develop a balance between existing and future customer demand needs with manufacturing and procurement to ensure fulfillment of customer demand.
Evaluate and prioritize production orders based on customer needs and production capabilities.
Monitor production progress and adjust the schedule as needed to meet delivery deadlines.
Implement medium to short-term production schedules to maintain tactical inventory levels through the creation of a supply plan to minimize critical product supply and demand issues.
Collaborate with the management team to improve production processes and increase efficiency by gathers information regarding problems that occur during the running of a product in order to be prepared for future scheduling.
Develop and implement technical project management tools such as master production schedules that take advantage of conversion opportunities to maximize plant performance.
Works with the procurement team, operations team, and other key employees/cross-functional teams to source ingredients and drive continuous improvement initiatives about packaging and continuous improvement.
Communicate all changes in established plans to appropriate personnel in a timely manner to prevent excess or shortage in inventory of ingredients/products.
Help reconcile daily variances and help eliminate variance issues.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Information systems, Planning, logistics, operations management, or related area preferred 3-5 years' experience in forecasting & production/inventory control processes preferred.
Experience in purchase order systems and production scheduling.
Exceptional math and computer skills, specifically MS Excel, Office & Outlook.
Strong communication skills, detail orientated, solid decision making, ability to work independently with little supervision.
Working Conditions:
Office environment with extensive use of computer and phone.
Involves frequent contact with employees and the public.
Factory environment Varying noise and heat levels.
SQF Requirements/
Responsibilities:
Maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.
Support biosecurity and GMP measures.
Work with SQF site lead and HR to support SQF training efforts.
Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
