Plans, directs and controls activities of the Plant to accomplish budgeted financial objectives.
Directs/Oversees the functions of production, engineering, sales, quality, human resources, purchasing, and finance.
Principal Responsibilities Develops and recommends short and long range Plant objectives consistent with organizational guidelines.
Recommends plans and budgets and conducts activities in accordance with approvals.
Plans and directs research in order to recommend improvement or expansion of operations.
Coordinates Plant operations with appropriate staff.
Reviews organizational staffing plans to ensure that they are consistent and adequate for attainment of Plant objectives.
Establishes and maintains satisfactory customer relations through direct or delegated contacts with representative individuals or groups.
Evaluates direct reports annually in keeping with internal system.
Perform other duties as seen necessary by management.
Decision Making/Authority Level Approves PEAs up to $50,000.
Approves Purchase Orders up to $50,000 unless covered by an approved PEA.
Implements staffing and compensation plans to achieve Plant objectives.
Responsible for employee selection and disciplinary action at staff level.
Minimum Competencies Four year degree (B.
S.
/B.
A.
) Minimum eight years experience in level general management, manufacturing, sales/marketing, or engineering management position Ability for frequent travel.
Computer literate in Microsoft Excel and Word.
